In addition to traditional legal advisory and defence roles, we provide a full range of judicial and strategic support services to see our clients’ projects through to completion.

Defence

We represent our clients (natural and legal persons, and public authorities) before the courts, Council of State, Constitutional Court and European courts (General Court and Court of Justice of the European Union, and European Court of Human Rights).
We ensure the follow-up of administrative procedures (building permits, development plans, etc.) as well as internal administrative appeals (permit refusals, etc.).
We support our clients before courts of arbitration and conciliation, and mediation bodies.

Advice

Before acquiring a land plot or a business, we carry out due diligence procedures.
We assist economic actors in investment-related decisions.
We advise companies on the reorganisation and compliance of their business activities.
Generally, we advise clients on judicial and administrative matters in our areas of competence.

Assistance

We provide support to negotiate and draw up real estate contracts (sales, easements, surface area, emphyteusis, leases, etc.) or transaction agreements (to resolve a dispute).
We support professionals (contractors, developers, industrialists) as well as private individuals, from the initial project launch stage (requests for planning or environmental permits, single or integrated permits, etc.). We assist them during discussions with administrative authorities and in the follow-up of administrative procedures to obtain the required authorisations. We maintain support through to project completion and sales.
We advise public authorities for the drafting of regulations or other administrative acts (permits, orders, etc.) in connection with our areas of competence.
In compliance with articles 4.106 and our Code of Ethics, certain firm members may work at a client company for a specific assignment or for a limited period.

Alternative forms for resolving disputes

We act at the request of specialised bodies or at the direct request of parties in a dispute, as arbitrators, conciliators or mediators to resolve a dispute.
On occasion, some team members stand in for members of the judiciary.

Training

At our clients' request, we provide internal or external training in our areas of competence. We also carry out legal monitoring upon request.
We organise training in our areas of expertise in cooperation with a legal publisher.
We participate in conferences and seminars organised by institutions such as universities, bar associations, legal training institutes, conferences for young members of the bar, notary study groups, professional organisations of architects or surveyors, the Union of Towns and Municipalities of Wallonia, etc.
Some of our members have held or continue to hold university positions, and teach trainee lawyers who are working to obtain professional certificates in our areas of competence.
We contribute to scientific and practical publications, and publish in legal journals.
